Specials price of $300 applies to students staying for less than four weeks during the school holidays (June 29 - July 20) (Sep 29-13 Oct) (Dec 20 - Jan 20) while my long term students are away in their countries.
Who we are
We are a Christian Korean couple with two cats and no children. I'm a public school (English) teacher and my husband is a programmer.
English Language Learning
I am an English specialist teacher at a public school and would be happy to help you with your English and can provide tutoring. I am happy to offer 15 mins after dinner to help you with your school work.
Travel to Auckland City Central
Remuera is an affluent inner-city residential suburban area within Auckland. It is located (only) four kilometres to the city centre. bus stops 2-min and 5-min walking distance from home. There is a train station nearby. As we are one of the closest suburbs to City Central, travel time and the bus fee (as NZ bus fee is expensive) to City Central will be considerably less compared to living in other areas.
House
a big new house with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two bedrooms, its own bathroom and a living room downstairs, this space will be great for two close friends or siblings.

Homestay fee includes
The use of electricity, heater, water, laundry, unlimited and fast internet, a queen sized bed, wardrobe, drawers, hair dryer to share, quality towels, curtains, desk, quality study lamp, quality bedding, breakfast and dinner. Each room has new pillows (memory form, duck feather and other normal ones so that you can choose the best one that suits you). Each room equipped with a heater. There is also a central heat pump that warms up the house. The fee also covers petrol fee for monthly family activities such as sight-seeings, more details below.
Food
Dinner served by the host parents, breakfast and lunch are self-serviced. We use high-quality ingredients including a lot of organic food. We use organic vegetables from our vegetable garden. There is always plenty of food in the house such as noodles and fruits to help yourself with. We pride ourselves in delicious meals we provide.
Family Activities
We try to organise activities that we can do together once every three to four weeks on Saturdays if you wish to join us. This may include going to the beach, having a picnic, going sightseeings around Auckland or watching movies.
Our ideal homestays are
familiar with Asian culture, tidy, independent, polite. maximum of one person per room. If you fit the description, please apply and I will be happy to share some videos of the rooms.
