The street is Chivalry Road in the suburb of Glenfield, situated in a very handy location--It's walking distance to the Glenfield Shopping Mall, Glenfield library, Aquatic and Fitness Centre, supermarkets, convenient stores, takeaway shops and bus stops going to the City Centre and schools on the North Shore. We have a BIG house and our peaceful and sought after location is ideal for students whose school is located in Auckland's North Shore or City Centre, and prefers living in a safe, peaceful and quiet neighbourhood.
We are a NZ-Filipino professional couple that will be more than happy to welcome you in our lovely home. We are friendly, easy going and hospitable hosts. We go above and beyond in ensuring our homestays are comfortable, supported, safe and familiar with the NZ culture. We have three rooms for our homestay guests and are looking to hosts female homestays that are friendly, tidy, clean and are able to take care of their own meals.
We have a large and well cared home (5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms). You will have your own private room and share the bathroom with the other guests. We provide our guests a separate fridge to share among themselves. You will share the living room and kitchen with 3 other people in the household. But there is plenty of space and we are both working full time. Our home is connected to the fibre optic network so you have very fast and unlimited wireless broadband internet connection all around the house.
Taking public transportation in Auckland is easy and convenient. Buses have dedicated lanes which makes travel times quicker even during the busy hour. Students also gets a discount on public transportation. Below are approximate travel times during busy hour when using public transportation from our location to the following schools:
